This is a study from just outside my studio and happens almost every night, when it isn't cloudy out. With the snow on the ground and dark skies in the background it made for a beautiful show.
Thanks Don! I am trying to paint a large version of this right now. This is right outside my studio area and it happens almost every evening. Unfortunately that isn't making it any easier to do.
Anyone familiar with the landscape of the rural west would know there is so much truth in this study. Great job!
